The AX Index

Sites whose owners published their AX score

Every entry here was listed deliberately by somebody who proved they control the domain. Scanning a site does not put it here, and it never did anybody any good when it did.

What the web actually scores

A curated baseline of 293 well-known public sites — SaaS, retail, news, documentation, government and reference — measured by us on 2026-09-06 against AX spec 1.5.1. Shown as a distribution, not a league table: these sites did not ask to be graded in public, so they are counted and not named.

These figures were measured against AX spec 1.5.1, and the scanner now runs 1.5.7. Scores are comparable within a version, so the baseline is being re-measured; until it is, compare a fresh score to it with that in mind.

Which sites are named here?

Separate from the baseline above, and a different kind of thing: these are named because their owners asked to be. Nothing about a host appears here because somebody scanned it.

Nothing is listed yet. Listing is opt-in and requires proving you control the domain, so this fills up slowly and on purpose. If you want your site here, claim it from your dashboard.

The index keeps the best score we have seen for a listed host, so improving your site keeps the credit and nobody can push you down by scanning a bad page. Removal is one click from your dashboard or from the report, takes effect immediately, and needs no explanation to us. Machine-readable at /api/v1/index.
